What is Medieval Madness?!
Medieval Madness is Grove of the Rising Phoenix's Annual Festival.

This year we have decided to make this more free form, it will be a weekend full of good times, good discussions, camraderie,
workshops, hiking, and our invasion of the Renaissance Festival on Sunday. This will be our last year at Usery Park.

Pricing info:
Price: Camping per night will be $15 per tent/camper (per unit) {for two nights $30} we will pay on Sunday when we leave. You may pay us on site or via PayPal (Pay Pal will have a processing fee the cost will be $31).
Price: Day trippers will be $6 per vehicle (YOU will be responsible to pay this fee)
Price: Ren Fair - you don't have to go to Ren Fair with us, however if you choose do so YOU are responsible for your ticket we recommend going to Fry's to get the discount.

Medieval Madness Event Schedule
Note: exact times subject to change

Friday:
Camp set up 4pm-ish
Potluck Dinner 7pm-ish
Opening Ritual 8:30pm-ish

Saturday:
Breakfast
Activities including: Scythian Hearth Culture, Active Meditation, and others!
Lunch, Possible afternoon group hike
Dinner may be earlier if we decide to attend the Owl release at Usery Mountain
Nature Center! 7pm
Bardic Circle/Auction: until we get tired of the auctioneer!  Think open mic night, one of a kind items to be auctioned off between performances. Feel free to bring your music instruments, singing voice, poetry, comedy routines, jokes AND wallets!

Sunday:
Breakfast, closing ritual, break camp
Offsite by 12pm, and on to the Ren Faire!

Please bring food for potluck dinners and throughout the rest of the weekend. We will have bottled water available for donation. If you want fire (and what pagan doesn't want fire!) bring wood to throw on the communal firepit. The site is tent camping, pop-ups can be parked in the lot, but you can't hook up to the electric at the pavilion. Dogs are ok, must be on 6-foot leashes, and be picked up after (PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT THE REN FAIRE UNLESS THEY ARE SERVICE ANIMALS). After 10pm is quiet time at the campground.

(Some food stuffs will be on hand selection will be limited)

**Suggested things to bring:
Food/beverages to share for potluck on Friday
Food/beverages for yourself (Friday is the official potluck)
Offerings for ritual (if you so choose)
~Wood for the drumming/bardic circle/auction~
Charcoal for grills if you will be grilling
Dogs are allowed on leashes no longer than 6 feet & you must pick up the feces
Musical instruments/drums/poems etc for bardic circle
Money for the Auction
Sun screen/hat/sunglasses
Ren Faire garb for Sunday
Tent/sleeping bag/pillows/camp chairs etc
Note book/ pen
Baby wipes
Camp dishes recommended though we will have paper plates/cups
Propane lantern/heater
Flashlight
Your happy face :)
